Instagram and Twitter!

Hey everyone! In case you haven’t noticed on my sidebar yet, I’m now on Instagram and Twitter! @Blipbloops on both sites. Feel free to follow! Or not, but I’d love it if you did! Here’s a little of what I’ll be using them for.

Twitter: Not only am I going to be tweeting updates to personal projects, sketches and just chatting with people in general.  But I’m also going to provide helpful links to references, resources and any sweet news relevant to my interests (all having to do with animation, media, etc.) or beneficial to artists. I’d love to get feedback, tips, suggestions, and will also give some if asked!

Instagram: Mainly my Instagram will just be for concept art, sketches, and any traditional crafts I start.  But as you can see from my first photo, I’ll also have little snippets of my life involving pets, hobbies, and my trip to New York Comic Con that’s coming up!

That’s all, I’ll get back to homework and my Breaking Bad marathon now.

STC Concept Art

I was put in charge of finalizing half the storyboard for our 2-2:30 minute collaborative animation, so I spent a little time practicing expressions based on our 3D model. That’s right, I’m animating in 3D this time!Screen Shot 2013-09-25 at 11.57.32 PM

Arroz and Pollo!

Since I finally settled on a design I liked, I broke Pollo down to basic shapes and it’s so much easier to draw him consistently now! Which is good because I’m getting into the rough animation stage!

I also drew a more adult version of Arroz. I figure if I can draw him as an adult, I can then go back and add the pudge and big eyeballs to make a better looking puppy awww.

AKA: as if I haven’t proved enough just how incredibly dorky I really am.

I’ve been needing to practice digital painting for some time now (I’M SO SO BAD AT IT). After a very long conversation with my sister (both of us recent Breaking Bad converts and long-time Pokémon fans) I decided, what better way to finally get some practice than by combining a new love with my old??Screen Shot 2013-09-16 at 12.10.51 PM

So here’s 1 part of what I’m hoping to make 6-10 part series, and hopefully by the end I’ll be the very best, like no one ever was have improved a bit! and here’s a process gif for fun!
